Why do you sell only Ghee & Oil?
We are exclusive people for Pure Ghee & Cold Pressed Marachekku Oil. Personally we had difficulties in getting Pure Ghee and Pure Marachekku Oil from the market, hence we decided to take this to every end user.
Ghee is used for several purposes and there are different varieties for different needs, which is not easily available in market or with any other typical online stores. Most importantly no body explains you about the different varieties of Ghee and whether it is made from Cow’s Milk or Buffalo’s milk, which we do.

How do I register?
You can register by clicking on the “Register” or “My Account” link at the top right corner of the homepage. Please provide the information in the form that appears. You can review the terms and conditions, provide your payment mode details and submit the registration information.
Are there any charges for registration?
No. Registration on Gheestore.in is absolutely free.
Do I have to necessarily register to shop on Gheestore?
You can surf and add products to the cart without registration but only registered shoppers will be able to checkout and place orders. Registered members have to be logged in at the time of checking out the cart, they will be prompted to do so if they are not logged in.
Can I have multiple registrations?
Each email address and contact number can only be associated with one Gheestore account.
What is brand name of GheeStore Ghee/Oil?
GheeStore ghee does not have any brand name, it is an unbranded Ghee. However each lot is tested and certified for purity and quality by International standard laboratory. Our test certificate is uploaded in the “Shop Info” certificate section for your reference.
What is shelf life of GheeStore Ghee/Oil?
The shelf life of Ghee is typically little over 90 days without refrigeration, it may even last more. On refrigeration it may last over 1 year. As long as you do not see any visible changes and loss or change of aroma or colour, you can use it.
Do you recommend refrigeration?
If you are planning to use it within 3-4 months, do not refrigerate, as refrigeration will increase the moisture content in the Ghee, which will reduce the aroma and taste.
How will I know the manufactured date of GheeStore Ghee/Oil?
Mostly the GheeStore Ghee is made only after you placing the order unless it is in small quantities, so it is manufactured in less than 10 days from the date you order. However for your convenience, we will mention it on the pack.
Are branded Ghee available in GheeStore?
No, at this point we sell only our own brand ghee, which is made at home in hygienic conditions and traditional method without machines.
What type of Ghee should be used for what purpose?
Use Pure Cow Ghee for Ayurvedic, traditional, divine, Homam / Yagna & any other edible purpose
Use Royal Brown Ghee for edible purpose – Mostly post cooking. Add directly to your food, while it is hot. You can also add this to your cooking. Not recommended for auspicious and divine activities as per Hinduism.
Use Royal White Ghee (Thelivu Nei in Tamil) for edible purpose – Mostly during cooking. Add this to your food while preparing, this is half boiled ghee, the remaining part of Ghee is boiled while you cook making it great taste & aroma. This is ideal for making sweets during festivals, marriages or large gatherings.

Do you sell non-edible Ghee for Homam / Yagna purpose?
No, we sell only edible Ghee in purest form, which can be used for any purpose and we also believe that divine activities require Ghee in the purest form to attain the full benefits from the god.
In Market Ghee for Homam / Yagna / Religious activity is available at cheap rate, why is it expensive in GheeStore?
True, in market you may get Ghee for very low price but most of the low cost Ghee are full of adulterant and are not recommended for edible use, it is not even suitable for religious purpose as it may contain animal fat. If the Ghee you sacrifice in Homam has Animal remains or Bone dust adulteration, to our knowledge, you are making sin. Read our Ghee Facts section for more information.
Why GheeStore ghee is little expensive than other brand ghee?
GheeStore ghee is traditionally made without machines, chemicals, preservatives and any other adulterant from pure cow milk or buffalo milk, converted to pure butter and then to Ghee. Hence this is typically expensive than other brand ghee. You will also see significant quality with our Ghee compared to any other brand Ghee.
What are delivery slots?
Delivery slots are time slots during which you will receive your order. GheeStore currently offers weekend delivery only, you may have to select the date of delivery during checkout. However in shortly we will bring next day delivery.
Why delivery only on weekends and it takes more time?
Based on the orders that we receive, the Ghee that you have ordered is made at our supplier facility using traditional methods. Once the Ghee is made, we test the sample Ghee with an external laboratory for quality and purity. Once the Ghee is certified, we pack it and deliver it to your location. This typically takes 2-4 days of time, hence there is a delay in delivery but you can be assured of quality.
What is a cut-off time and what is the corresponding cut-off timing for each slot?
Cut off time is the time after which the order gets processed for delivery. After this time you will not be able to modify or cancel your order, typically 12 hours after the order. Please refer to “Delivery Info” for exact details of cut off time.
How can I check availability of next slot before placing order?
Once you check out the order place you will be notified only with the available date slots or the next available slot in which you can order will be displayed.
Can I change my order delivery slot after placing the order?
Delivery slot cannot be changed once the order is placed. In case of an urgent requirement of change of slot please contact our customer support team and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
How do I add or remove products after placing my order?
Once you have placed your order you will not be able to make modifications on the website. Please contact our customer support team for any modification of order.
Is it possible to order an item which is out of stock?
No, you can only order products which are in stock. We try to ensure availability of all products on our website however due to supply chain issues sometimes this is not possible.
How do I check the current status of my order?
You can find the order details and its status in the “My Orders” page.
How do I check which items were not available from my order? Will someone inform me about the items unavailable in my order before delivery?
You will receive an email or a SMS about unavailable items before the delivery of your order. SMS option will be coming shortly.
When and how can I cancel an order?
You can cancel an order before 12 hours from the time of order by calling us. After 12 hours it is not possible to cancel the order.
When will I receive my order?
Once you are done selecting your products and click on checkout you will be prompted to select delivery date. Your order will be delivered to you on the day selected by you and at present it is only on weekends. In future we will deliver it on next day basis.
How will the delivery be done?
We have a dedicated team of delivery personnel and a fleet of vehicles operating across the city which ensures timely and accurate delivery to our customers. In future, we will deliver the next day using our courier partner.
How do I change the delivery info (address to which I want products delivered)?
You can change your delivery address on our website once you log into your account. Click on “My Profile” at the top right hand corner and go to the “Update Profile” section to change your delivery address.
How much are the delivery charges?
Delivery is free for orders above Rs.1000, between Rs.100 and Rs.1000 we take a delivery charge of Rs.50 or Rs.100 depending on the order value, however the sample pack comes to you at free of delivery cost.
Do you deliver in my area?
You will be intimated via SMS or email at every stage of your order processing, right from order confirmation till the dispatch. (SMS option will be enabled shortly)
Will someone inform me if my order delivery gets delayed?
In case of a delay, our customer support team will keep you updated about your delivery.
Do you do same day or next day delivery?
No, at present but in future we may do it for select PIN codes for limited quantities. The main reason is we want to make Ghee based on your order and deliver fresh & pure every time to you.

Do you have offline stores?
No, we do not have an offline store
Does youroffline store accept coupon codes or discount codes?
No, if you wish to use our promotional offers or discount codes, please order it online and pick it up from our store. All offers & discounts are available only at our online store; however offline store may have other offers & promotions, which cannot be used online.
Does your off line store accept Credit / Debit Cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit and debit cards.
What do I do if an item is defective (broken, leaking or expired)?
We have a no questions asked return policy. In case you are not satisfied with a product received you can return it to the delivery personnel at time of delivery or you can contact our customer support team and we will do the needful.
How will I get my money back in case of a cancellation or return? What are the modes of refund?
The amount will be refunded to your gheestore.in account to use as store credit in your forthcoming purchases. In case of credit card payments we can also credit the money back to your credit card. Please contact customer support for any further assistance regarding this issue. Also refer our “Refund Policy”
I am a corporate/ business. Can I place orders with GheeStore.in?
Yes, we do bulk supply of products at special prices to institutions such as ayurvedic clinics, restaurants, sweet Stalls, Marriages and any other institutions. Please contact as at care@gheestore.in or 9790811777 to know more.
Do you offer credit to institutional customers?
No, we do not offer any credit facilities irrespective of the quantity. It is always cash and carry or you can pay by Credit / Debit Cards at your door step.
